Poudre Valley Residence

The design of the Poudre Valley Residence is comprised of two gabled volumes separated by a light filled entry and circulation space. The volumes respond to the sloping terrain and the two-story western elevation with large windows fill the space with light and allow dramatic views of the western mountains. The lower level of the home grounds the structure to the landscape and acts as a base for the upper level and outdoor patio spaces. This strong base and the articulated volumes placed upon it, allows for a strong connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding site.
