Brent is passionately curious about all types of design. He loves that architecture allows him to combine technical problem solving with creative thinking to make a difference in people’s lives - especially in the places we call home. He believes that in design, constraints are a means of opportunity and should direct inspiration for thoughtful space making and unique ideas.

As a Rocky Mountain native, Brent attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture. There he gained an appreciation for fostering a connection between architecture and nature as well as an interest in innovative building technology.

Professionally, Brent brings a background in single family home design and a knack for detail to bldg.collective. With projects across Colorado and The Front Range, his experience includes working on a diverse range of high end projects from award winning residences to bespoke commercial spaces.

In his free time, Brent is an adventure seeker and enjoys exploring the varied terrain of Colorado through a long list of mountain sports and camping. He is fortunate to be an avid traveler with trips spanning 21 countries, immersing himself in localities that offer unique perspectives and understandings that challenge his design thinking.
