Description:

At the request of the owners, we designed a wood shop and storage building that would compliment the main house we had designed the previous year. The husband is an avid wood worker and wanted a large open space for his wood working tools as well to store his two classic sports cars. The tall chapel like space has large double height west facing windows that brings in ample amounts of afternoon light, as well as a wood burning stove to keep the space warm during the winter months. Opposite the double height windows, French doors open onto the main driveway creating a courtyard atmosphere between the main house and the shop.
