Description:

Situated within a historic building on the Colorado College campus north of downtown Colorado Springs, the design intent of the restaurant was to create an interior wrapper that defined and separated the programmatic elements and at the same time was minimally invasive to the building’s structure.

Using prefinished hardwood flooring as the defining material, it separates and defines elements such as the kitchen, dining area, bathrooms, and order counter. The lighting within the skin plays with the linear nature of the wood flooring and is continued with the suspended fixtures over the eating area.
